Guzel is here to be a guiding light to shepherd you to your heart's core, unveiling your innate power during life's pivotal moments. Her gift lies in recognizing and nurturing your unique strengths, propelling you to your highest potential.
Guzel Gjenasaj, Reiki Master Teacher, Ceremonialist, Life Coach andSpiritual Mentor, has devoted three decades of her life, to learning, healing, and growing.
Guzel is a beacon of inner awakening, dedicated to harmonizing the trinity of mind, body, and spirit. Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, she's a first-generation Albanian-American, enriched by a tapestry of cultural narratives. While urban life was vibrant with diversity, her ancestral roots in Montenegro's remote village of Kraj, immersed her in nature’s embrace -- drawing water from wells, harvesting food from her ancestral land, and grounding herself to the Earth's rhythms.
A young Guzel faced sexual trauma, leading to years of self-concealment and weight struggles. At 19, a pivotal decision to break free from an impending arranged marriage became her turning point. Since then, she's fiercely embraced life, prioritizing her health and living in full self-expression.
She's journeyed globally, secured a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from California State University, and deepened her insight into Transformational Psychology at the University of Philosophical Research. With over three decades of holistic learning, encompassing Yoga, Holotropic Breathwork, Meditation, Conscious Communication, Plant Medicine, and various Earth Based spiritual practices. She's attuned as a Reiki Master in the revered Usui Reiki method by the esteemed Chris Eagle.
Her life’s tapestry, woven with personal growth, diverse communities, and wisdom, empowers her to guide others on their healing sojourns.
In 2010, Guzel experienced a near-tragic car accident that set her on the most transformative healing journey of her life. Despite two doctors telling her that she would never regain full use of her left arm, she was undeterred. Although Western medicine played a role in mending her bones, it was her daily commitment to various healing practices that truly facilitated her recovery. With determination, she not only regained full use of her arm but also went on to guide others on their healing paths.
By 2013, with the collaboration of Camille Cimino and Katrina Zavalney, Guzel co-founded Cross Pollinate. This venture became a beacon for women's networking and empowerment, flourishing until 2018.
After her transformative 8th year as a Moondancer, Guzel now leads sweat lodges and integrates age-old wisdom teachings to bolster the emergence of the Rainbow Tribe -- a harmonious confluence of lineages for humanity's evolution. Honored as a pipe carrier in the Ollintlahuimetztli tradition, Guzel's dedication is evident. She's been a fire keeper since 2012, hosting inclusive Fire Circles in her beautiful Los Angeles haven. She is also leading monthly sweat lodges in Pasadena, CA. She has hosted several Womens retreats in Costa Rica and Colorado.
Additionally, Guzel extends her expertise to corporate sectors, offering transformative wellness sessions.
